Hand Cycling Criterium

Calling all hand cyclists: Wheelchair Sports Victoria and Wheelchair Sports NSW present the Albury Hand Cycling Criterium staged on the banks of the Murray River in Albury. This sport is for athletes and enthusiasts who are limited or not able to use a conventional bicycle because of a disability. 

Date: Saturday 27 February 2010

Start/Finish: Noreuil Park, Albury NSW - Cnr Wodonga Place & Ebden Street 

Registration: 11.00am

Racing: 11.30am

Classifications 

To compete, all hand cyclists must be a current member of their respective State Wheelchair Sports Association.

  • HC A: Classes HC 1 & 2  
  • HC B: Classes HC 3, 4 & 5  
  • HC C: Classes HC 6, 7 & 8  
  • Participation Class   

Depending on the number of entries, classifications may be combined using a handicap system. For more information about the classifications of hand cycling, please visit Wheelchair Sports Victoria or Wheelchair Sports NSW.

Entry fee

No entry fee applies for this event.   

Prizes

Prize money and product prizes for category winners will be awarded on the day.
