Getting to Albury

Getting to Albury is easy. Situated on the border of NSW/Victoria, Albury is accessible by bicycle, bus, car, plane or train.

By bicycle

Albury is served by a vast network of on and off-road trails and pathways providing cyclists with a safe and enjoyable means of exploring the city. View Albury city's trail map.

By bus

Greyhound, Martins Albury and Wangaratta Coach Lines are just a few of the buses travelling to and from regional and metropolitan centres to Albury. For information on bus times and fares contact Albury Wodonga Visitor Information Centre on 1300 796 222.

By car

The Hume Highway corridor makes getting to Albury simple. Expect over three hours driving from Melbourne (315km) and Canberra (340km) and about six hours from Sydney (557kms).  

By plane 

Albury Airport is located 5km from Albury. Services to Sydney are provided by Qantaslink, Regional Express and Virgin Blue Airlines. Regional Express flies daily to Melbourne and Brindabella Airlines flies to Canberra every day except Saturday.

By train

VLine and Country Link trains run daily from metropolitan and regional centres to Albury. For rail timetables visit VLine and Country Link.
